A random hand from the 2026 card is chosen. Two tile groups are dealt to your rack automatically. Your job is to find the remaining tiles to complete the 14-tile hand.
You start each hand with 10 points. Tap a tile from the palette to guess. A correct tile (hit) is placed on the rack at no cost. A wrong tile (miss) costs 1 point and is removed from the palette.
Tap Hint to automatically find the next correct tile group. Using a hint costs 1 point.
Tap Spin to skip the current hand and start a fresh one.
AVG tracks your average score across all completed hands.
In real Mahjong, singles and pairs are not called until the final tile completes the hand. In this game, when you guess a tile that appears as a single or pair in the hand, it is placed on the rack immediately because we need to clear your guess from the palette. Hands from the Singles & Pairs section of the card are excluded entirely.
Don't just guess! Use your card to look up all the possible hands that match the tiles already on your rack. Check the remaining tiles in the palette and the remaining openings on your rack to narrow down the candidates. Because the hand has already been chosen, there is only one solution accepted.
There is some luck involved, but carefully studying the tiles and knowing the card increases your odds.
After you really learn your card, try playing without it. You'll start spotting hands from memory.
